Admission Process
Admissions are primarily conducted through the CUET (UG/PG), while professional and research programs require separate entrance tests or interviews. Applications must be submitted online via the official BHU portal, followed by counselling and document verification.
- For Undergraduate (UG) courses, BHU now uses CUET-UG (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by NTA. Candidates must apply via the CUET portal and later participate in counselling & seat allocation.
- For Postgraduate (PG) courses, admission is through CUET-PG or other entrance tests/merit lists as applicable for the subject. There may also be departmental / interview/selection tests depending on the program.
- Admission in professional/medical courses like MBBS, dental, etc., is via national-level tests, e.g., NEET-UG / NEET-PG.
- Applications are online. Relevant documents, reservation category certificates, etc., are verified at the counselling/document verification stage. Seats are allocated based on merit + reservation norms.
