Admission Process

- The first step is to apply online through the official website at https://nsktu.ac.in/ and then appear in entrance exams, such as CUET mainly and others.
- The submission of academic transcripts and required documents will be done.
- The shortlisted candidates must undergo an interview and counselling.
- The selection will be based on scores and merit secured by the student in the exam.

Ans. Yes, in many cases, the requirement of prior Sanskrit schooling is waived or alternative criteria (bridge courses, qualifying exams) are provided, depending on programme. The university may provide foundational Sanskrit or remedial courses for such students.
Ans. Yes, apart from classical disciplines, the university offers subjects that interface with digital technology, modern methodologies, language studies, possibly translation, online/distance modes, etc., blending traditional scholarship with contemporary tools.
Ans. Generally yes, if the programme is recognised by UGC / the university itself and clearly declared equivalent. However, some employers or institutions may have preferences, so students should check equivalence / recognition before applying.
Ans. Several things: stronger legal status, more governmental oversight, possibly more funding, broader recognition, greater powers in structuring courses, and aligning with central university norms (faculty recruitment, grants etc.). Also may lead to increased infrastructure, staffing, and expanded programmes.
