- Exam: On 8th and 9th March BARC conducted CBT exam for scientific officer posts under OCES/DGFS.

FAQs- BARC OCES DGFS 2025 Result
This is a government training-cum-employment program conducted by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, in which selected candidates are made Scientific Officers after training.
OCES is a 1 year training program at BARC Training School, while DGFS is a 2 year MTech + training program which is conducted in collaboration with IITs/NITs and BARC.
Engineering graduates (B.E./B.Tech) and Science postgraduates (M.Sc. Physics, Chemistry, etc.) from eligible disciplines and in final year or passed out can apply.
For selection you can either go through BARC written exam or are shortlisted on the basis of GATE score, followed by a personal interview.
During training, you receive a stipend of ₹55,000/month and after successful completion, you get the post of Scientific Officer as per Level-10 pay matrix (around ₹95,000/month CTC).
