Selection Process for CTET Examination
- The recruitment for CTET is a single-stage written test, and it is conducted in an offline mode i.e., OMR-based mode.
- Candidates can sit for Paper I (Classes I to V), Paper II (Classes VI to VIII), or both, depending on their choice of level of schooling they want to teach.
- Both the papers consist of objective type multiple choice questions, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- For appearing in the exam, the candidates need to acquire the necessary minimum marks as may be decided by the CBSE (60% for general candidates, relaxation for SC, ST, and other categories)
