CUET(UG)-2025 Information Bulletin

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate programs in 2025 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This exam serves as a gateway for admission into undergraduate courses at all Central Universities and other participating universities across India for the academic year 2025-26. The test will be administered in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will cover 13 different mediums.

2. Important Dates

• Online Submission of Application Form: 01 March 2025 to 22 March 2025 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Last date for successful transaction of fee: 23 March 2025 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Correction in Particulars: 24 March 2025 to 26 March 2025 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Announcement of City of Examination: To be announced later on the website
• Downloading of Admit Cards: To be announced later on the website
• Date of Examination: Between 08 May and 01 June 2025 (Tentative)

3. Fee Structure for CUET (UG) – 2025

• Registration: Online at https://cuet.nta.nic.in
• Total Subjects Offered: 37 (13 languages + 23 domain-specific subjects + 01 General Aptitude Test)
• Medium of Test: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu
• Syllabus:
  • Language: Reading Comprehension, Literary Aptitude, Vocabulary
  • Domain Subjects: NCERT syllabus
  • General Aptitude Test: GK, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Math basics, Quantitative & Analytical Ability
• Choice of Papers: Maximum 5 subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test
• Marking Scheme: +5 for correct, -1 for incorrect answer
• Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Total Questions: 50 per test paper (all compulsory)
• Duration: 60 minutes per paper
• Shifts: Multiple, depending on candidates/subjects

6. Application Process

Step 1: Registration

• Register at https://cuet.nta.nic.in
• System-generated Application Number & Password will be created.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

• Enter personal, educational, programme & test details.
• Choose exam cities.
• Upload required documents:
  • Photograph (10–200 kb, JPG/JPEG, 80% face visible, white background)
  • Signature (10–50 kb, JPG/JPEG)
  • PwD/PwBD Certificate (50–300 kb, PDF)

Step 3: Fee Payment

• Online only: Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, UPI
• Confirmation Page generated only after successful payment.

Step 4: Confirmation Page

• Download, save & print confirmation page for reference.

7. General Instructions for Candidates

• Ensure correctness of all details (Name, DOB, Category, Email, Mobile, Exam City).
• No corrections after submission (except during official correction window).
• Use valid & personal email ID and mobile number.
• NTA will not accept corrections via post/fax/email.
• Candidates bear their own expenses to exam centres.
• Entire process is online only. No physical documents to be sent.
• One mobile number & email can be used for one application only.
• NTA/Government may use data for training, analysis & research.
