What will be the eligibility Criteria?
There are different qualifications for each level:
Level I (PRT – Primary Teacher, Class I–V):
12th pass with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) ya equivalent.
Level II (TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher, Class VI–VIII):
Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed / D.El.Ed.
Level III (PGT – Post Graduate Teacher, Class IX–XII):
Post Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed.
Further, the limit is generally 18-38 years, and reserved categories get relaxation.

What is the exam pattern and marking scheme?
HTET is an offline OMR sheet based exam. Each paper consists of 150 questions carrying 150 marks.

- Language (Hindi & English) – 30 Marks
- General Awareness, Reasoning, Haryana GK – 30 Marks
- Subject Specific – 60 Marks
Every correct answer = 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.
It is compulsory for general candidates to score 60% (90/150) marks to qualify for the exam. There is relaxation for SC/ST/OBC.
