The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun accepting applications online for applicants to register for the JEE Main 2026 – Session 2 examination. Candidates may register on this site to either take the exam to achieve better scores than they received in Session 1 or those individuals who did not take part in Session 1. This examination will take place in April of 2026 for admission into both undergraduate engineering programs and architecture programs.

How to Apply for NTA JEE Main Session 2 Online Form 2026
- Go to the official JEE Main website
- Tap on JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration
- If you are a new candidate, you will have to do the registration to get the application number
- Session 1 candidates can log in with the help of the credentials they already have
- Enter your personal details, academic details, paper choice and exam city preferences
- Upload your photograph, signature and other documents in the format that has been specified
- Make the payment of the application fee through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI
- Get the confirmation page and print it out. You will need it for your reference later on

Selection Process after JEE Main Session 2

- Candidates have to take part in the Computer Based Test (CBT) which NTA conducts
- The obtained scores are adjusted (normalized) to guarantee fairness across different shifts
- Utilizing the normalized scores, a list of All India Rank (AIR) is made
- Qualified candidates take part in JoSAA or State, level counselling
- The final seat allotment depends upon rank, category, choices filled, and availability of seats
