AUS stands for Arunachal University of Studies. It is a state-private university which was incorporated in 2012 by a law promulgated by Arunachal Pradesh State Legislature and is located in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh. It is rated as one of the top universities offering state-private university setups in the region. The university is the first and only State university in Arunachal to have got NAAC recognition, a rare recognition which brings with it severe academic rigor and institutional discipline. The university is successfully establishing its footprint by offering various courses from undergraduate to PhD in Engineering, Law, Education, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Nursing, Management and the Humanities.
