Central University of Punjab (CUP) is a prestigious academic institution which came into existence in the year 2009 under Parliament Act 2009. It is wholly subsidised and funded by the Indian Government. In addition, CUP is dedicated to providing quality, state-of-the-art education and increasing areas of research in various fields. It has its base in Batinda in the state of Punjab, and it operates from a permanent campus of its 500-acre campus. NAAC has also awarded it an ‘A+’ Grade based on its teaching, learning, and research.
