Eligibility Criteria for UP Polytechnic JEECUP
Candidates must meet the given criteria for selection process :

Selection Process for JEECUP
The admission process for JEECUP 2026 is entirely merit, based and consists of the following steps:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) is conducted at preliminary level
- Compilation of State Level Merit List is prepared based on performance

- Seat allotment according to rank, category & preferences
- Verification of documents at help centers
- Final admission and fee payment at the institute allotted

- Different course groups will have different fees for the application.
- This is the only time when you will be allowed to make changes in your form, so it should be limited.

UP Polytechnic JEECUP Online Form 2026 – FAQs
The online application process was initiated on 15 January 2026.
The candidates have until 30 April 2026 to apply online for JEECUP 2026.
Applicants need to be of 14 years of age or older and their date of birth should be on or before 01 July 2012.
There is no age limit for taking the JEECUP examination.
For General/OBC candidates, the charge is 300 per group while for SC/ST candidates, it is 200 per group.
Exam will be Computer Based Test (CBT).
No, there will be no deduction of marks for the wrong answers in the JEECUP 2026 exam.
The admit card will be available on the 08 May 2026, as planned.
